This is just a quick topic im making just to get other peoples views on the new MMO from BioWare.
I have reserved a Guild name on Star Wars (obv HFR) and when this game comes out will be seriously considering giving it a try. i have already been invited to play the open beta within the next few weeks and i will be letting people know what its like who want to play this game but have not been invited to play the beta.
All im asking is for your opinions on the game and wether or not you would be considering giving it a trial because i know i will.

Ill defo try and play that game, been a fan of star wars since ages so yeah... plus its Bioware, and that studio makes absolutly awesome games.
It can be shit or be awesome, but i know ill play it just for the shake of it. Cant wait to level myself a wookie drugdealer among others. YIES

Hmm the movment and ui itself doesnt really makes me "happy". Guess I wont try it, or only 7 days if trials appear

I was hyped about this, but looking at the recent in game stuff I was really dissapointed.
I'll probably wait for a trial aswell.

For people unsure on this game or have still not been invited, i can let you know now that this game is definetly a contender to be a top MMORPG.
I have played the beta and already im sold on it. If you like WOW (which you do) and star wars (WHICH YOU DO!) then this game is a must try for anyone who wants something new to do or a filler for when we arent raiding.
Hopefully from what ive seen the latest patch has been released which contains the final amendments for the game so hopefully they should be ready to start stress testing soon. Which means MORE INV'S!.
If you get invited or you do end up trying/playing this game then tell me and we can get a guild set up on there

pre ordered this last night, so ill be playing it as well. Loved the 1st 2 games so hoping this is as good ;p
I think there's gonna be a bit of a divide between ppl wanting to go light/dark

Hey peeps,
Pontiff here (for those of you that remember me....). Just thought I'd post on the tor post.
How's everyone doing?
Have pre-ordered too and imo it looks really good. Of course, being an MMO it's gonna be compared to and have comparisons with Wow but they have some great enhancements (imo) and the setting is a nice change to Azeroth (and beyond...). Nice crafting approach, companions, starship etc. Anyway, you can add me if you like, planning on rolling a Sith Warrior as my main, or an Imperial Agent - will be called Monartu.
And if anyone is looking for a home I'm (already) in a casual guild, with a lot of mmo experience but too many rl commitments to go hardcore (like a lot of people here). Feel free to check us out and apply if you need a home (if a HFR guild isn't established). Don't forget, if you are planning establishing a guild, you need at least 4 pre-registered members (members that have pre-ordered and registered their copy of swtor) before phase 3 or the guild will be disbanded most likely. We're currently at around 35 members.

well star wars was fun to watch a few years ago but watching them more than 1 time is to much for me.
And about it being a wow killer, well so far there have been: Warhammer, LOTRO, Rift, Aion and probly more. So i doubt it be a wow killer, but even if it was does that give you a reason not to play wow anymore?

Well if i like the game and i get enough ppl in a guild to do endgame content then yes i wont play WoW anymore
